1Co 15:55 O death, where is thy sting? O grave, where is thy
victory? {grave: or, hell}
It was early in 1992, after my husband Terry and I had just returned from Shepparton
Victoria...
During my stay in Shepparton, I had a bad tooth removed and I did not know at the time
that septic poison had set in.... After the tooth was pulled out, the poison got loose
into my system, We were now in Melbourne, and I began to feel very ill indeed.. One
morning, I just could not get out of bed....I could not even lift my head from the pillow.
Terry helped me get out of bed and to get dressed...
There was a doctors surgery on the other side of the road, so Terry stayed home with the
children as I went to see the doctor. When I told the doctor what had happened, he looked
at me and was very alarmed.. He told me that I should be dead, and that there is nothing
that he can do for me..
He was totally surprised that I was able to move around!
He gave me a script and told me to go home. I was suffering from acute septicemia!
Two mornings later, I knew that I was about to die!
I knew that the shadow of death was upon me..
I lay in the bed unable to move...
Terry saw that I was dying....
That there were only moments of life left in my body!
We had both been through a very testing time in Shepparton, where our faith in Jesus was
really under attack....
Terrys faith in Jesus was now at a very low period, but he placed his hands upon me
and prayed. He told the Lord that his faith was pretty weak but he knew
that God would answer prayer because it is in the Word...
I immediately leapt out of bed free of all poison and totally healed... On the next day we
went to Sydney to continue in ministry....Admittedly, I was still a little weak from the
septicemia, but Jesus took care of that!
