Vision Of Hades

It was late in 1988..... The Lord had just called my wife Joanne and I out of a dead church in which I was involved with ministry... The Lord told my wife and I to go to Westside Assembly of God in Maidstone Victoria, and to do nothing but sit under the preaching of His Word for twelve months before getting involved with anything else. This was so that the Holy Ghost could minister to us and heal the terrible wounds that were inflicted upon us while under that dead Spiritless church, which God eventually closed down.

We were renting a large house in Footscray at the time where there was plenty of room for home fellowship and a small room that was set aside for prayer and ministry...

It was during one evening when I was having my personal time with the Lord that this very powerful thing happened to me. As I was in the prayer room deeply involved in prayer, I heard someone crying out for help!

I stopped praying and ran outside to see who was in trouble.... All was quiet, and there was nobody about.. So I went back inside to continue with my time with the Lord!

Again, I heard someone crying out for help.....So again, I went outside.... Again there was nothing.... I remembered something like this happening in the bible! The story where Samuel was called... So again while in prayer, I heard people crying out for help.

This time I said: "yes Lord, here I am. I am ready Lord!" Immediately, it was like a veil lifted from my eyes and I was looking into a vast pit full of human faces!

I could not count the number of faces that were looking up at me as I stood there in absolute surprise...

The people within this vast pit were aware that I could see them in their torment...

Their cries for help seemed to be an endless chorus!

"What is going on here." I wandered.

The Lord spoke to my heart and reminded me of Jesus when he spoke of Lazarus and the rich man in Luke 16:19-31.

The Lord made it clear to me that what he referred to is an actual event and not a parable, otherwise the Word of God would have declared it to be a parable!

The great ocean of tormented faces that I was beholding where the faces of those in Hades. Those who were awaiting to be cast into the lake of fire on the Day of the Lord!

This particular part of Hades was shown to me because of the fact that these particular people whom I was looking at in this pit were those who in life believed that they were right with God because of what they believed to be right was the truth!

They had no time for the gospel of God, which was revealed to them by the servants of God. They chose not to believe the simple message of the cross, but elected to follow popular religious concepts that offered them compromise and not the need to repent from their sin! As I gazed into this pit of tormented souls who were only experiencing a foretaste of hell, I wanted to reach out and pull them out... But the Holy Spirit moved upon me and told me that there is nothing that can be done for these people because they had chosen to reject Gods’ only provision for their salvation in Jesus Christ the Lord in their lifetime. Their cries were great, and I was deeply disturbed by what I saw.... Even today in 1998, I am still affected by what I saw in that pit... It drives me to go on sounding the warning to those in the church not to take the work that Jesus did for our salvation on the cross for granted, and not to treat the message of the cross as foolishness, as many religious people do by their idolatrous lifestyles!

The Lord allowed me to look into the pit of Hades to tell people of what I witnessed.

Those within the pit are condemned to hell; those still living in the flesh still have the hope of repentance in Jesus Christ and getting it right with God through the cross of Jesus...

If we enter the grave without Jesus, only Judgment awaits us...

And we await that Judgment in the pit!

This is why I saw what I saw...To warn others who believe that they have their own way to God!

There is only one Way to God! John 14:6

16 For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.

17 For God sent not his Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through him might be saved.

18 He that believeth on him is not condemned: but he that believeth not is condemned already, because he hath not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God.

19 And this is the condemnation, that light is come into the world, and men loved darkness rather than light, because their deeds were evil.

20 For every one that doeth evil hateth the light, neither cometh to the light, lest his deeds should be reproved.
