The Christian.
I see something in your eyes,
I'm not really sure just what it is,
It's payment, compensation,
For the life that you will miss.
I see it in your actions,
They're more than words can say,
And if your challenged through the day,
You take a moment out to pray.
You saw a child crying,
But you couldn't walk on past,
When she told you she was hungry,
You began to fast.
You saw a naked man,
And gave to him your clothes,
And when he cried and asked to talk,
You listened to his woes.
In a world where even Christians,
See hypocrites in church,
I've found someone who means it,
Or I've given up my search
